    Hi, I’m Jess — the heart and hands behind Luz Divina Co., a pharmacist, a mother, and a woman who has learned to hold onto God’s light through some of the hardest seasons of her life.

    Luz Divina Co. was born during a season when I felt stretched thin — as a mom, a provider, and a woman fighting for her health, her peace, her future, and her child’s well-being. In the middle of the chaos, God kept placing the same truth on my heart:

    That even in busy seasons and hard moments, He calls us to create beauty, light, and peace wherever we are.

    As a Doctor of Pharmacy, I’ve spent years studying how ingredients affect the body — how what we use daily, often without thinking, can either support well-being or quietly work against it. When I began paying closer attention to the products I was using in my own home, I realized how many everyday items were filled with unnecessary additives, harsh carriers, and ingredients I would never knowingly choose for myself or my child.

    What started as a desire for safer, cleaner alternatives became something deeper.

    When I poured my first candle, something shifted. It wasn’t just about clean ingredients anymore. God used that quiet moment to slow my mind, strengthen my spirit, and remind me that care — when done intentionally — can be an act of worship.

  • Hola, soy Jess — el corazón y las manos detrás de Luz Divina Co. Soy farmacéutica, madre y una mujer que ha aprendido a aferrarse a la luz de Dios incluso en algunas de las etapas más difíciles de su vida.

    Luz Divina Co. nació durante una temporada en la que me sentía agotada — como mamá, como proveedora y como mujer luchando por su salud, su paz, su futuro y el bienestar de su hijo. En medio del caos, Dios seguía colocando la misma verdad en mi corazón:

    Que aun en temporadas ocupadas y momentos difíciles, Él nos llama a crear belleza, luz y paz dondequiera que estemos.

    Como Doctora en Farmacia, he dedicado años a estudiar cómo los ingredientes afectan al cuerpo — cómo lo que usamos a diario, muchas veces sin pensarlo, puede apoyar nuestro bienestar o, silenciosamente, trabajar en nuestra contra. Al comenzar a prestar más atención a los productos que utilizaba en mi propio hogar, me di cuenta de cuántos artículos cotidianos estaban llenos de aditivos innecesarios, portadores agresivos y componentes que jamás elegiría conscientemente para mí o para mi hijo.

    Lo que comenzó como un deseo de opciones más limpias y seguras se transformó en algo mucho más profundo.

    Cuando preparé mi primera vela, algo cambió. Ya no se trataba solo de ingredientes limpios. Dios usó ese momento de calma para aquietar mi mente, fortalecer mi espíritu y recordarme que el cuidado — cuando se hace con intención — puede ser un acto de fe.
